In this sacred conversation, with the saints arranged in a semicircle around the throne containing the maternal group, we find the characteristics of Francia’s style in the years when he served the most important families of the city’s aristocracy. The work is painted in oil and was requested by the Manzuoli family for the chapel they built in the Misericordia church, opposite that of the Felicini family, also adorned with an altarpiece signed by the artist.
