Entrance priority<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visitors with disabilities or special health needs are granted priority access; please contact the staff for information and assistance. Please note that admission to State museums is free of charge for people with disabilities and a family member or other accompanying person who can prove that they are members of the social and health care services, in accordance with Ministerial Decree 507\/97, amended with Ministerial Decree 13\/2019 and L.104\/92 (it may be necessary to produce suitable certification).<\/p>\n

Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna<\/em>

The Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna is accessible to people with motor disabilities.\n\nThe Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna is located in a restricted traffic zone: the holder of an H parking permit, who is not a resident of Bologna, can access the restricted traffic zone and park free of charge by communicating the license plate of the vehicle connected to the permit. The main entrance is located on Via Belle Arti 56 and has a staircase with four steps. The side access to the portico in front of the Pinacoteca (Via Belle Arti corner of Via de\u2019 Rolandis) also has a staircase with four steps.<\/p>\n

The route without architectural barriers starts at the corner of Via Belle Arti and Via Antonio Bertoloni: on Via Belle Arti 48 you enter the portico which, after about 100 metres, leads to the entrance of the Art Gallery.<\/p>\n

The ticket office is located just beyond the entrance, on the right. A ramp leads to the reception and cloakroom area, where backpacks and bags can be deposited. The museum bookshop, on the other hand, is located in an area not accessible to wheelchairs, as it can only be reached via a staircase with two steps.<\/p>\n

The lift is located immediately after the ticket office, on the left side of the corridor. Using the lift it is possible to reach the basement floor (where the wheelchair accessible toilets are located) and the first floor, the starting point of the museum visit.
The museum sections have different levels and are connected by ramps and stair lifts.
The stairlifts measure 69\u00d779 cm and have a maximum load capacity of 225 kg. If a wheelchair is larger, during the visit it is possible to use the chair provided by the museum, which measures 37\u00d743 cm; in this case please contact the staff for information and assistance.<\/p>\n

Palazzo Pepoli Campogrande<\/em><\/p>\n

Palazzo Pepoli Campogrande is not accessible to persons with motor disabilities.

L\u2019ingresso a Palazzo Pepoli Campogrande si trova in Via Castiglione 7. Dal portone si accede al cortile interno, sul lato destro si trova lo scalone che conduce al primo piano, punto d\u2019inizio della visita. Lo scalone \u00e8 composto da tre rampe di 36 gradini. All\u2019interno del palazzo non \u00e8 presente l\u2019ascensore e il primo piano \u00e8 accessibile solo attraverso lo scalone, che non \u00e8 dotato di servoscala.

Guide dogs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guide dogs for the blind and service dogs for assisting the disabled may enter without permission or notification of their presence prior to the visit, provided they wear the appropriate harness and are mandatorily kept on a leash.<\/p>\n
