From Lavinia Fontana\u2019s famous\u00a0<em>Famiglia Gozzadini\u00a0<\/em>we\u2019ll move on to Ludovico Carracci\u2019s more intimate and informal composition, in which the painter portrays his sister\u2019s family. Guido Reni paints his mother, and the face of the great Bolognese artist is captured, in turn, by his pupil Simone Cantarini.
