(Presepio)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The work depicts Mary and Joseph in adoration of the\nChild, and behind them, a landscape populated by small figures,\nrendered with quick strokes. Due to the cursory drafting of some\nof the parts, particularly the background, it has been suggested\nthat Costa may have been working on it before moving to the\nGonzaga court in Mantova and that, once started, the panel was\nleft unfinished.
